Who would have thought Taxidermy could be made into something so pretty and sweet! This wee guy is a wearable feltidermy called Gray Mouse, but she does wall mounted ones too. The next picture is Mr Fox.
Feltidermy is the work of GirlSavage. She created the term flexidermy for her mounted faux taxidermy pieces (and we know how much I love making up words!). Her blog tells us she is a tall, sassy redhead who loves to have fun and enjoy life. She has many hobbies such as baking, cooking, hand sewing and collecting. She has collections of hand thrown pottery, vintage animal salt and peppers, ceramic animal miniatures, vintage mystery novels and juice glasses. She is also obsessed with soaps. I like how she makes up stories about her new animal felt creations, especially the one about P.Nut going to Ribfest in Chicago (that is where GirlSavage is from). "Watching all the ribs getting grilled was fun! P.Nut didn't eat any of them, she is a vegetarian, but she thought the cheese fries were great! She also asks her blog visitors for ideas for names for her felt animals!
I don't know her personally, but I can tell that if we met I would want to be her friend so she is going in the Pretty Sweet Friends section.
