Gems Winter 'Want' list....

Posted by gem, 17th June 2010

I'm having one of those days where lots of pretty things are appearing, almost like magic, infront of my eyes. It is very unfortunate that these pretty things are appearing at a time when I am feeling very poor.....damn you rent and power bill!!....and buying that expensive practical rainjacket, that I really needed, when I could have spent money on more impracticable pretty things....damn you sensible brain and rain.

It all started when KowTow sent me an email telling me they were having a sale on their 'UpCycled' bags.....

They reminded me of a link to Wren that Fraser sent me about cute coffee sack wallets........

And then to distract me from bags and wallets I had a look at Ruby's website they have their summer 2010/11 collection out already...

Then my friend Olivia at work told me that she had bought a Deadly Ponies handbag from Madam Fancy Pants, I remembered seeing them in the window....This one is called Mr Tension

The little lamby from Lady Monicle I thought would look lovely with one of Mo's pretty Spinning Plate necklaces.

So by this stage, I realise that I have spent well over $3000 in my head...kind of frightening...so I decide that I should really be looking for a present for my friend Anna because it is her birthday. She might be leaving Wellington soon (tears would be hitting this if I was writing on paper), so I went onto the Felt website and typed 'wellington' into the search option.....and SuperVerys very pretty necklaces just APPEARED!, it wasn't just any necklace too, it was a UNICORN!, if you know me well you will know that I have a small obsession with unicorns. I swear there is something out there that testing me ...testing me to the breaking point..

I have to go now. I must leave this computer-land of temptation.
