Make, bake and eat this delicious cake

This White Chocolate Caramel Oat Cake is a truly delectable delight. I recently tried it while holidaying in Timaru....highlight indeed. Anywho! Make it, try it and share it with your fav friends;

 

1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
3/4 cup white flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup desiccated coconut
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups brown sugar

250g butter melted
2 eggs
vanilla

caramel
400ml sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons golden syrup
150g butter

make caramel, mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl, in a smaller bowl mix melted butter eggs and vanilla, stir into dry ingredients.

press 3/4 of the mix into lined springform tin and pour caramel on top. crumble remaining mix on top. bake at 180 for 40-45 minutes or until golden.

melt white chocolate and drizzle on top

Ha all good, I fixed it up - I also over did the comment part on the blok blog :s ps Apparently NP is the best place to visit during Queens bday weekend...pps I'll bake you that cake if you come
