Sticky Date Moon Rocks

1 c chopped dates

2 T honey

2 T water

1/4 t baking soda

1 whole orange rind grated

1 3/4 c plain flour

3/4 caster sugar

100gm butter chopped

1 egg

1/4 c icing sugar

 

1 - Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

2 - Combine dates, honey and water in small saucepan; bring to boil. Remove from heat, stir in soda and rind; stand 5 mins.
